I am at my Mom's condo up in Rochester again. I am planning on this being the last trip for a couple of weeks.

Ya know, as a student of information science and a legacy of philosophers and technical folk. I think some pretty weird stuff sometimes. I mean, for instance, It seems to me that we are (as a human society) on the verge of a new enlightenment. The older methods of experimentation, observation and exposition of conclusions are pretty much out the window for practical science. Today, it seems that we take a shot, miss and kinda guess. We will make it up as needed in the future. Our older procedures have overrun themselves and we don't have time to reflect or correct (and of course we gave up years ago on documenting the whole mess). New Job, New Car and Always New Experiences

We took the new Tesla Model Y up to Tugaloo State park on the border of Georgia and South Carolina. I bought non-OEM cross bars for the canoe. The install was a bit tricky since the mounting is in exact places under the roof glass. The test was successful since I was driving up to 80 mph with 50 mph winds. No issues whatsoever. I did put a line from the bow down to the truck for some additional piece of mind. We did some canoeing, but not as much as hoped due to strong currents in the Tugaloo river. Cooking and eating out in the woods always makes food taste better.

A New Way in Thanks to Diamonds

Last week with diamond chainsaw cuts. The window looked like this. This week with new entrance door. It felt good to get that completed. I make plans in my head and I am tormented/tortured until there're done. Often times it is years. The only way to get rid of it is to sell the property. The issue is the torture only starts again in a different place, different projects.
