Vestry Graduate

I am no longer part of the Vestry at Christ Church Norcross. I served my full term as the Buildings and Grounds liaison. It was three years. There were a lot of items to deal with over the years. But the effort wasn't the work. It was the responsibility and knowing that I wasn't doing enough. I think most people get that feeling with obligations. Maybe not. I am sure the time and responsibility will be quickly reallocated. When I signed on I figured I would learn something. Now I am thinking about what I learned along with the hows and whys. I think my Grandfather would have approved. I am learning Chinese. Yep, thats right. It seemed like the thing to do. Here is a great link for a flashcard program The cat turned out not to have a tumor but a very large fully engourged tick! I certainly learned something. The other night she was playing with a stuffed mouse upstairs and I saw a real fully animated version downstairs. Something was wrong with that picture. India is getting into the Automotive industry.

It has been a while since I last posted. I put the electric car project on hold for a while. We were having some issues with the male cats (Amos and Archie) so they are no longer in the house. The female cat has a tumor (Amy) on her head so she goes to the vet tonight. The chicken that was sick (broken leg) is all better. That was the first chicken we saved. Often times when they get sick the other chickens will kill the sick one. The chicken culture is harsh, but almost understandable from a physical standpoint. I mean if the sick one is killed it is a flock purification effort. The Arian chicken flock as it were. Chicken Eugenics in action. They are very mean to each other thats for sure. Today it is the 50s. Last week it was 10 below zero (maybe colder). Tommorow it is supposed to be in the 60s!. Here is a picture of me with my new non-beard look at work. And it all goes on.
