The Nissan Leaf on the Farm

With tribute to USDA and other government furnished information of the post war advice converting Model-Ts to tractors --"Doodle Bugs". I towed the resurrected rear-ended 2013 Nissan Leaf up to Berkshire, NY from Duluth, GA. It is now in field trials as a farm machine in Upstate NY. Despite the lack of current ground clearance it is performing well in dirt and mud. I decided not to buy the plane. Maybe next time. It was a good exercise visualizing myself as a aircraft owner. I have decided not to buy anything else that uses gas for a while. I have a lesson Thursday night. Instead, I am getting the solar hot water system built and installed. The electric car is still in process. I will be mowing my main hay field this week (17 acres) for the first time this year. So far this year I have mowed about 7 acres with the big mower. I have a lot more to do. I sold my truck camper and I am trying to sell a bunch of other stuff too. The chicks are growing. They are fun.
