I went to Elliot Brack's funeral yesterday. He was a friend. And he was quite a character. He was one of the first people I met outside of work when I moved to Georgia. He was sort of a variation of the main character of Tom Wolfe's "A Man In Full". I used to say that Elliott and I had a 50-50 relationship. He told me what to do and I did it. His 50% was telling me. My 50% was doing it. He was a fixture at my church and involved me in all sorts of things. Including organization of our "Civic Breakfast" where we invited leaders from the community for information and opinions of the community. It goes on and on. Well, I got my stress test done. The results of course were fine. I impressed myself on how fast you can get something like that done when you really are compelled. I could find no one in the greater Binghamton area that could do it in less than a month. I was hung up on at one point inquiring at a local cardioligist office. I started looking in Syracuse and was attended to very efficiently by CNY Heart Center on Genesee St. I made the appt., got it done and was back home by 5:30 PM. They helped out a lot. Just about everybody is willing to help someone with a plan like mine once it is properly communicated.

Plane tickets next? I suspect I will be leaving on the 14th.

I am continuing with the soft launch of wisdomino (wis-do-mino). My partners and I are consulting in the Technical Information space. We have some really cool, gamechanging apps we are testing, sharing and getting feedback. I attended a Association of Equipment Manufacturers meeting in Milwaukee. Very good event.

Memorial Day 2026

We have had a dry spring weather-wise this year. But now Mother Nature is making up for it. There was flooding on what we call "The Connector" in Atlanta. The connector is both I 75 and I 85 running through downtown. Needless to say it is a very large artery. The forecast looks like it will be rain for about 10 days. Here is a rare picture with at least a piece of each car in the current fleet. It is too many vehicles. It takes too much attention for all the care and feeding. The Humvee goes on display today. There has a been a lot going on. Over the Holidays I was in GA, NY, MI, MA, RI, FL. DJ has moved off the farm and has moved back to her Farm. I did some night flight last night. There is a requirement to do 10 takeoffs and landings at night for the private pilot licence. Landing at night is different. It is like... well... dark. I took a bunch of photos, but the most interesting is the one where the flash was on by accident. I like that you can through the prop and that the windscreen didn't seem that dirty.

I am back from Europe. My new passport is only two weeks old and I have added five Countries. I had Boobalan and Christopher pose with this tiny Fiat in Italy. It was their first trip ever outside of India. They made many new friends. There are some pics of a historically important bridge in Bassano del Grappa Italy. The bullet holes are still there.
