Always a lot going on..

I have had a serious of "near zero days" (reference hiking jargon), but I think they mostly just seem like zero days. I am getting stuff done, just not at 100% efficiency. Not sure anyone can move with 100% efficiency... Anyhow, I am planning on starting my next journey on May 1st. -- more details as they unfold. I know what I like and dislike. I know what turns me on and off. Time for that knowledge to be guidance. We booked a trip to Wyoming/Yellowstone park in a few weeks. It will tackle at least three items that have been on my List 1.) visit Yellowstone (in winter). 2.) A longish snowmobile trip and 3.) A visit to Wyoming. That will gbe my 50th state. All states, 100 countries and all continents. I decided I like this music. DiDuLa - "On the way home"

WOW. If you ever doubted accupunture .. let me set you straight.. Holy Sh*t. I got home just in time to see Dr Wendy and Dr Jim allowing Fawna to stand up. Fawna was so excited.. She kissed me and blew in my nose. It definately blew my mind. She was able to walk a couple of steps even. She thought she was going to go outside and do the llamadance with her brothers but we stopped her. Eventually, she lost strength and had to cush. I could feel a tear welling up. She saved her life for a while longer.

Now I have the accupuncture needles and the knowledge of where to put the needles. I get to try it next. What a trip this has been.

I will be using it for planting blueberries this coming year. It is good for all sorts of transplant crops. It hooks to the tractor and two people ride on it placing seedlings in a spot that gets automatically planted and watered. The guy I bought it from said he has recently sold three of them all to people from NY. It was a great deal so I figured it was justified to spend some money on a nice place to stay. I learned a lot about the Amish. Of course as soon as I got back I won a great deal on a tire changer on ebay out on Long Island. I will be headed out there in a couple of weeks. I was woke up last night about 1:00 AM. There appeared to be a party going on in the room next door. It wasn't totally loud. There wasn't any banging on the walls or anything. But it did wake me up and I didn't really get back to sleep for the rest of the night. When I went down for breakfast I noticed a "do not disturb" sign on my neighbors door. I was thinking these folks don't need that. So, I took it with me.

Nature -- Deer and Butterfly

I do like the outdoors and nature. I dont like the naive view. I like the real thing. Sometimes it can be scary and sometimes it hurts. I still like nature. I like wilderness. Camping in North Georgia is quite nice. There is a alot going on as usual, at work and at home. I think I am going to sell the humvee. I dont need 5 cars. I have some more work to do to it, but after I get what I have planned done. Its gonna hit the road. It will still take me awhile with my current level of productivity and the number of projects I have in flight. I will be up in NY again soon probably and I have travel plans currently to Maine, New Hampshire and Japan. I am making vacation plans mostly in the Caribbean. That is the push to get us over 100 Countries. I also still have to get to Wyoming, to finish off the 50 US states. I did yard work today. Mostly weeding before it got hot out, but also grading. My kayak trip was awesome! So what happens when three restless boys want to do something exciting in Atlanta over the Thanksgiving holiday? Shoot the Hooch. Traverse the Chattahoochee river in grand style. We did it in a combination of couchsurfer, thrillseeker, and urban explorer (mostly Couchsurfer). We met for the first time last week. The participants, one from France (a recent MBA grad from Georgia Tech), one from California (a 20 something Mechanical Engineer) and me. We put in at the Buford Dam at Lake Lanier. We put in illegally since the park was closed. (I mean who would want to use a park on a holiday?) We parked illegally at both ends of the run (not sure of the reasons, but an accumulation of a $50 parking ticket). And, we camped illegally for two nights. So, let's add some danger with two beginner kayakers, and very fast water. It is very dangerous, at least one person has died in the Chattahoochee in the last year from swift water.
