The Nissan Leaf on the Farm

With tribute to USDA and other government furnished information of the post war advice converting Model-Ts to tractors --"Doodle Bugs". I towed the resurrected rear-ended 2013 Nissan Leaf up to Berkshire, NY from Duluth, GA. It is now in field trials as a farm machine in Upstate NY. Despite the lack of current ground clearance it is performing well in dirt and mud. We are back from NY. We did what we had on the list. We towed the Bobcat and a few other items down to Duluth. I have a couple of landscaping projects to do in Duluth. It is a long drive for sure, 16 hours worth. I can't say I like the long drive. There were at least 5 different significant slowdowns on the way up and back down, weather, traffic, accidents. The trailer performed perfectly. The AC even worked in the truck this time! There is a brand new beaver dam being built on the farm, fast. Not sure what to do about it yet. The corn is growing well and property issues are being addressed. The Dowdell Dacha/Fazenda is on plan.

Angie and I went to "Food Truck Friday" in Duluth. We had lobster from a food truck. I have been meaning to take the car/airplane pic for a while.

Angie and I decided to go hiking rather than flying this weekend. The sports car ran well through the mountain roads. We had to put the top up for a while for rain. We hiked on the Appalachian trail from Tesnatee gap almost to low gap and back. Lots of vertical climbing. Very tiring.

We were in a car wreck today. Thankfully we were not in the middle of it and most of all we were not hurt. There were injuries in the primary accident cars. We were sitting at a light a car or two back from the intersection. The damage to the fish car is minimal.
