I am partially through my roadtrip. I loaded up the tesla and started letting the Full Self Drive (FSD) take me to to points North. .

The migrating birds are just starting to come back. Yes, we are seeing some first signs of spring. It takes a while living here to see Winter in Atlanta. There is definately a winter. The leaves fall. It gets cold. and we are heating not cooling. Heating is about half the cost compared to cooling for a benchmark.
I am splitting my "free time" between remodeling and doing the winter pruning. The Crepe Mytles grew over 8 feet this past year. It gets trimmed off every year and it starts all over again. I used three of my chain saws.
I got stuck in traffic behind a road rager--cut off the car ahead of me, stopped, got out and started screaming. All in heavy rush hour traffic. They both had masks on, not sure about vaccines.

I have been working on getting fence in. I have maybe 20 more holes and the Bobcat started giving me fits. I am rebuilding the carb so I can get it done on Sunday and get the auger back to Bobcat dealer. The Tioga kitty is doing well. He has his fur growing back. The vet said if we didn't get any lumps growing back by the 4th of July he had a good chance. We don't feel any tumors. I have to give him another exam. He seems to feel ok. I think he is going to be ok. Doug, Becky and Ian stopped over for pizza. They are doing well.
After much discussion and research we have determined that we have recently returned from above the Arctic Circle. It was close however, the arctic circle is not as fixed as we would like to think. From Wikipedia: as of 30 August 2017, it runs 66°33′46.8″ north of the Equator. We took the following pics at 66 53" 74" N. More pics to follow.
Road Trip
I have seen another Christmas come and gone. We had the Kids here for the most part then went up to Brockport for Christmas dinner. I got Bonnie dance classes (with me). I must have gone through some weird ion cloud. I think never was the original time line specified for that type of project. I hope it doesn't kill me. I also purchased a very nice, however slightly used hose reel on ebay. It has a 110 VAC motor to make the rewind easy. It will be a nice addition and help in getting water to the animals in the winter. It is a luxury item. I am working on getting my blog archive working again. It is all time consuming.
DELAYED! I got a call at about 4:30 AM saying they have postponed my (the 7th flight this year) flight to the ice by 24 hours. So I am in Christchurch another day. I am going to visit some antique shops I saw. Also I am going to figure out how to easily ftp some pics with common ftp tools and work on my laptop. I didn't sleep much last night so I will turn in early and get out to the Airport at 5:30 Saturday morning and hope we can going this time. Delays like this are common and they are certainly better than a boomerang. The problem is with the weather forecasting. Modern meteorology really uses techniques that are based on examining where existing weather is moving. This technique works pretty good for Topeka or Toyko, but the world's weather starts on the Antarctican continent. Predicting the weather for more than an a couple of hours at McMurdo is difficult. The metrologists are often called "weather guessers". It is 7:03 AM Friday right now and I am starved....
