Summer Starting to End on the Farm

Image
It has been good spending time on the farm. I really had forgotten how quiet and dark it is here. It can actually be a bit unnerving. The leaf doodle bug was put to work in the forest. However, it looks like the car will be going back on the road. We can say it failed field trials, but that would only be partially true. The better utility value at this point is more suited to getting a teenager back and forth from high school. The mycological aspects of the farm did not disappoint. The pics of these shrooms are not photoshopped. The coal stove (very heavy) is loaded on the truck. It will be rebuilt in Georgia if I can save it. Coal stoves are increasingly out of production. When they are gone they are gone. The small wood stove is now in its place. The pic of the red sky in morning was indeed a warning of weather. We had strong storms and tornados in Upstate NY. Although I was travelling much that day in the area, I missed the worst of it.

Perverts in TSA Wichita

Image
I was in Kansas most of this week. The TSA have a training center in Wichita. They are well known in my circles for physical molestation. Males often receive a "groin anomaly" check. I clearly told the TSA agent that he did not have my permission to touch me there in private or in public. He did it anyway. It really is that bad. I suspect they truly are perverts. Below is a pic of a very weird "tribine" machine that makes no sense at all. Also, a pic of the new canopies under construction over the terminal drive up area at Atlanta airport. Last week I heard of a former co-worker who died last week. He was 50. He was in good health. After a lot of speculation on our part we heard that his son has been arrested for his murder. mankatofreepress ---Lifted text follows : Text lifted follows: MANKATO — The Minnesota State University student accused of murdering his father reportedly stood to receive $500,000 from a life insurance policy and lied to police about his whe...
Generally a quiet week and weekend in Georgia. I put a new main tire on the plane and worked on the current remodeling project. All the electric is done. Sewer drain and water pipes, and insulation is done. I am hanging the 20 sheets of drywall on the walls. It will be done soon and on to the next project. Since the walls were opened up facing the garage, I put a 50 amp outlet in for a fast charger for the car. I don't need a fast charger, but it wont hurt anything either. Electric vehicles are the future. We have been really struggling getting my new truck registered. I bought it in November and I still don't have the title. I have learned a whole lot more than I wanted to about Ohio titles, Gwinnett county GA DMV and incompetence and belligerent behavior at Huntington National Bank in Ohio. Dozens of phone calls and screw up after screw up. The bank told me that the GA DMV is wrong and they don't know what they are doing. Pretty much unbelievable.

If you have any doubt of whether Upstate NY is dead, watch the video of the Irondequoit/Carousel Mall. Thanks Governor Cuomo! Failures in the news just today in Rochester NY. 600-plus-jobs-wny-falls-through garden-and-home-penfield-has-closed whatever-happened-ridge-road-station
