Yes, we had a major fire under I-85 in Atlanta and the roadway collapsed. It will be a big deal for awhile. Traffic is bad enough in Atlanta without this problem. The thing that you may not have heard is that on the same day a trailer truck crashed under another major interstate (I-20) in Atlanta and also caused a major fire, that bridge did not collapse.

Alpaca Forum at AlpacaNation Work has been tough on me lately. I am jam packed with meetings all day tommorrow. I have something going on in the evening from 6:00 to 9:30 and I have to get to work early to take care of some projects. It is going to be a long day... on top of that it is my birthday. West to East and back. A busy trip for sure.

Last weekend I had a quick adventure. I flew to Tampa picked up a moving truck, got it loaded up at my Brother's and drove to Atlanta and unloaded. Then flew back to SoCal. I did manage to lose the keys to the rental truck. I decided that wasn't much fun, but I am sure I learned a valuable lesson, just not sure what it was. I also managed to take down a phone line across my driveway with the truck. Opps. We had dinner with my cousins in Huntington beach while they were out this way last week. It was a great dinner in a great place (Dukes on Huntington Beach), so much to talk about. It turns out my half-niece Marina is headed to Antarctica right now. We had a plane crash in the area over the weekend. I was very familiar with the plane and had met the individual that passed away. My partner was interviewed on the news about it. The different accounts I have heard is that he was a very capable pilot and perhaps a combination of bad luck events is the best way to describe it. I am planning a trip to Southern Africa. I am planning on Zimbabwe, Eswatini (Swaziland), Botswanna, South Africa, Lesotho, Namibia, Mozambique and Zambia.
