The Nissan Leaf on the Farm

Image
With tribute to USDA and other government furnished information of the post war advice converting Model-Ts to tractors --"Doodle Bugs". I towed the resurrected rear-ended 2013 Nissan Leaf up to Berkshire, NY from Duluth, GA. It is now in field trials as a farm machine in Upstate NY. Despite the lack of current ground clearance it is performing well in dirt and mud. I will be skidding firewood very soon. https://journal.classiccars.com/2018/06/08/doodlebug-1923-ford-model-t-tractor/ https://www.thehenryford.org/collections/explore/artifact/188731?AssetId=THF811118

Angie and I are having a normal weekend. We worked in the yard. Living in the South yard work is mostly about pruning and weeding. We are getting good with the requirements. We manipulate our garden as appropriate.

Angie definitely has got some good pics flying. I was busy. We seem to have a neighbor who bought a Yak-52. Step 1. Get your pilots license. 2. Buy an airplane. 3. Complain about gas prices. 4. ?

Notice that we have on short-final a small Cessna on the runway and a business jet waiting to take off. Normal.
