The Nissan Leaf on the Farm

With tribute to USDA and other government furnished information of the post war advice converting Model-Ts to tractors --"Doodle Bugs". I towed the resurrected rear-ended 2013 Nissan Leaf up to Berkshire, NY from Duluth, GA. It is now in field trials as a farm machine in Upstate NY. Despite the lack of current ground clearance it is performing well in dirt and mud. I will be skidding firewood very soon. https://journal.classiccars.com/2018/06/08/doodlebug-1923-ford-model-t-tractor/ https://www.thehenryford.org/collections/explore/artifact/188731?AssetId=THF811118

I picked up a cold-bug. It has been a quiet weekend. Not much fun, not much activity. I hired a guy to fix the dock. I am planning on some fences and things around the property.

The goose seems like a loner and a bit mentally ill. We have named him "Buddy". He comes around and is a bit of a pest.

We found some Russian ice cream at the Korean store the other day. It was great example that you don't need to travel to explore. Angie was in the UN last week.

Just finished binge reading the posts since March 2013, when I had stopped by last time. Lots of interesting things going on. I have a feeling the next car might be a Tesla, likely the upcoming Model X :)
