Another top five worst regarding us cities. Rochester and Buffalo NY top the list for worst places to find work besides New Orleans. The government has indeed ruined the State. Like famine the refuges are the ones who pay the costs of war, economic or otherwise. top five Here is a place to do something about it. http://www.unshackleupstate.com/

I am back in Atlanta from Minnesota "We took took care of things, you betcha." I meet a lot of folks on planes. I am not extremely social, especially depending on the day, but often my life is enriched sometimes in coach, sometimes in first class. Looking through old posts I certainly see a lot of dead links. Youtube hopefully is going to do better. They have all been good for quite a while. "Showing up is important (creating a link), but sticking around so people can get to know you is where the real difference is (archive-retrieval)." I thought of this scene awhile back. Sure enough, it was on youtube. Are the background sounds considered music? I think so. I am planning on doing something exciting this weekend. I don't know what it is yet.

I am in Jackson Minnesota. I noticed the metrodome is still collapsed as I flew into Minneapolis (MSP). Jackson is a 3 hour drive from MSP. The roads are pretty straightforward, not a whole lot to look at. I had lunch in Albert Lea MN. I figured I could find a Mexican restaurant and I did. I heard there are four of them in Albert Lea. It is definately a tragedy in Christchurch NZ. I have pictures of the cathederal somewhere. I will dig them out. It being Februray people are coming off the ice to Christchurch. It is normal to spend a month in "Cheech" after you get off the ice. I sure hope folks in USAP are all ok. However, it appears there are USAP folks missing at this point. As a contractor, you are off-the-clock as soon as you set free in cheech. If you get killed in cheech you are on your own time. There would be no government benefits. They won't even ship your body to the US. They made these facts very clear to me. I will be in the office Friday. I probably wil

I really like my job. It is very challenging, stressful and demanding. These attributes are clearly offset by a supportive boss, excellent executive leadership, and a sense of pending and enevitable success. Making presentations in the boardroom of a Fortune 500 company is fulfilling and enlightening. Every other place I have worked is/was envious of the situation I live. The company is less that 20 years old. There is great heritage with our divisions, smart dedicated people. It is a matter of drawing the best out and leveraging, not of dominance, not of cowardice and deception. Whereas my last place of employment was filled with impending doom, scorn, excoriation, belittlement, leadership embarrassment and some of the most backwards thinking I have ever experienced. Stuff that truly took decades at my old place of employment is done in my new experience in 6 month time frames. I laugh when I look at the facts. That's what happens when you have employees not appointed drones.

I am in NY for the weekend. Calisto the llama is dead. He was the white llama that Bonnie saved when I was in Antarctica. It was a miricle he lived. But, as we know, life (even prolonged) is a temporary thing. He leaves his three brothers, Artemis, Aires, and Professor. DJ and I are making plans for the Bakery. Decisions to be made, things to do. My Brazil trip left some significant impressions on me. I got to see a sugar cane operation from planting to finished product. I was most impressed by the sustainability. Brazil has the reputation as having non-sustainable business. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The US really needs to wake up. Brazil is becoming a world power, no doubt. I spent time in 4 different cities in 4 days. The sugar cane is processed from the raw can into sugar, ethenol, and electricity in the same plant. Very impressive. I have a cold again from moving about so much without sufficient rest and care. The snowy pic was not in Brazil but from Berks

It is the weekend again. Time really moves fast when you travel 50% of the time. I suppose I don't have to travel nearly this much, but I do find it the most cost effective way to do my job. Being away from my apartment so much I have learned a few techniques. I buy a lot of freshies. What do you do with the freshies when you are leaving for two weeks? Also, I don't have a compost pile here, like on the farm. The organics need a purpose. So, what I do is take all my veggie scraps, you know the stump of lettuce, the stem of tomatoes, the pepper that would go to waste, and I freeze them. Then when I have a day or so here I take the frozen stuff out and make a wonderful vegetable stock. You make vegetable stock by getting a big ol' pot and dumping in all the frozen stuff, nothing putrefied, and adding lots and lots of water. You then slowly cook (not boil) over low-low heat for at least 12 hours, more is better. Do not add any salt. Strain the broth and freeze in baggies.
