The Nissan Leaf on the Farm

Image
With tribute to USDA and other government furnished information of the post war advice converting Model-Ts to tractors --"Doodle Bugs". I towed the resurrected rear-ended 2013 Nissan Leaf up to Berkshire, NY from Duluth, GA. It is now in field trials as a farm machine in Upstate NY. Despite the lack of current ground clearance it is performing well in dirt and mud. I will be skidding firewood very soon. https://journal.classiccars.com/2018/06/08/doodlebug-1923-ford-model-t-tractor/ https://www.thehenryford.org/collections/explore/artifact/188731?AssetId=THF811118

The following is the webcam of the Greene airport. This is looking down rnwy 7. So you can see me taking off coming towards you (normally) on 25.

I am planning on flying at 5:30 Thursday the 7th of August. I will be doing takeoffs and landings. Not surprisingly, to practice landings you have to do takeoffs. 5:30PM Thursday.. Had to cancel due to weather.

Are you going to solo? You must be close man! If we ever get a couple days without rain, I'll try to fly over and say hi (where ever you live)

Take care... Todd
