Always a lot going on..

I have had a serious of "near zero days" (reference hiking jargon), but I think they mostly just seem like zero days. I am getting stuff done, just not at 100% efficiency. Not sure anyone can move with 100% efficiency... Anyhow, I am planning on starting my next journey on May 1st. -- more details as they unfold. I know what I like and dislike. I know what turns me on and off. It's time for that knowledge to be guidance. We booked a trip to Wyoming/Yellowstone park in a few weeks. It will tackle at least three items that have been on my list 1.) Visit Yellowstone (in winter). 2.) A longish snowmobile trip. 3.) A visit to Wyoming. That will be my 50th state. That will make it all US states, 100 countries and all continents. I will likly be getting involved with MTP (Most Traveled People) https://mtp.travel/ where they break countries into regions. It is probably an urban legend. But in my world it is very believable.

1st place

This year's runaway winner was Mr. Merv Grazinski of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Grazinski purchased a brand new Winnebago Motor Home. On his trip home from an OU football game, having driven onto the freeway, he set the cruise control at 70 mph and calmly left the drivers seat to go into the back and make himself a cup of coffee. Not surprisingly,! the RV left the freeway, crashed &then overturned. Mr Grazinski sued Winnebago for not advising him, by reading the owner's manual, that he actually could not do this. The jury awarded him $1,750,000 plus a new Winnebago Motor Home. The company actually changed their manuals on the basis of this suit just in case there were any other complete morons buying their recreation vehicles.

I have a few hours to kill at the Denver airport. I really can't think of anything that we forgot to pack or that we did not consider. We had ethics training this morning. Interesting. Everyone in my group is excited, both the people you have deployed 10 times and the fingees like me. It was mentioned this morning that it is estimated that less than 22 thousand people have set foot on Antarctica. If you consider that most of these were probably on the peninsula going to the Ross Island and the interior is even more rare. I took the picture of this jeep the other night. It looks like what my jeep could become if I keep all the body panels in place.

"Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing." -- Benjamin Franklin, Inventor I am back from Ohio. I went out almost to Cincinnati to pick up a "Tobacco Setter." I will be using it for planting blueberries this coming year. It is good for all sorts of transplant crops. It hooks to the tractor and two people ride on it placing seedlings in a spot that gets automatically planted and watered. The guy I bought it from said he has recently sold three of them all to people from NY. It was a great deal so I figured it was justified to spend some money on a nice place to stay. I learned a lot about the Amish. Of course as soon as I got back I won a great deal on a tire changer on ebay out on Long Island. I will be headed out there in a couple of weeks. Check out the Amish guy putting the stuff from Walmart in his buggy. I learned a lot. The Amish seem to like Mountain Dew. And of course, I have to get a picture of at least one of the wre...

Nature -- Deer and Butterfly

I do like the outdoors and nature. I dont like the naive view. I like the real thing. Sometimes it can be scary and sometimes it hurts. I still like nature. I like wilderness. Camping in North Georgia is quite nice. There is a alot going on as usual, at work and at home. I think I am going to sell the humvee. I dont need 5 cars. I have some more work to do to it, but after I get what I have planned done. Its gonna hit the road. It will still take me awhile with my current level of productivity and the number of projects I have in flight. I will be up in NY again soon probably and I have travel plans currently to Maine, New Hampshire and Japan. I am making vacation plans mostly in the Caribbean. That is the push to get us over 100 Countries. I also still have to get to Wyoming, to finish off the 50 US states. I did yard work today. Mostly weeding before it got hot out, but also grading.
