Expidite the expidited

I am headed to the passport office this AM to get a new passport. I didn't have time to do the expidited renewal after getting back from Japan. So I made an special expiditing appointment with the passport folks in Atlanta. I am glad I only have to drive into Atlanta, not fly up to NY or Washington DC. It seems I have had to do some expiditing everytime I have renewed my passport. Passports are good for 10 years. When you get a new passport it is a time to ponder where you will be and what the passport will look like in 10 years. The pic belows shows the wear on my now cancelled passport. it was a 50 page book (the extra pages version) and 46 pages are fully used. Many countries require 3 empty pages to enter their country. So, I got full use of the larger size passport. If you need more pages, you send the passport in and they will "sew-in" more pages. I made a new sign frame at church, got the sawmill running and am in the process of replacing the glow plugs and fuel injectors in the humvee.

I am making plans for the sawmill. It has been mostly sitting around for 10 years. Time to get it to work again.

Gracie decided to give us a presentation regarding current world shipping issues. She thinks she is so smart. But she is wrong about port congestion. If we allow anyone to drive commercial trucks there will be no backup of containers moving inland. Gracie, a tip for public speaking, Never turn your back to the audience. We had "Demo Days" at work again this past week. I was busy on most of the days, but I went up to the demo site after the event was over on Friday and took a look at machines we have on site.

Vergason Technology, Inc Fawna is still down. Although Douglas and Bonnie managed to get her to walk a step or so yesterday. The steroids took a while to get into her. We figure that since we could see a small bludge of fluid where I gave the injection untile she got some exercise. We worked with her last night and she seems really depressed. Today the Vet accupuncurist comes. After that.... ? Yesterday, work was bad and got worse. man o man. (The silent blog...blog...blog...too hot to handle at the moment.)
