I have decided to take three days off. Saturday, Sunday and Monday. It is carnival weekend and Chinese New Year weekend. It only makes sense. Although it is lunar calendar based, these Christian and Asian traditions don't always align. Sounds Global. We will be there. Refer to the cryptic chart Angel drew up.


On top of all that it was Super Bowl Weekend! Who Cares. We watched. It doesn't matter.

New Job, New Car and Always New Experiences

We took the new Tesla Model Y up to Tugaloo State park on the border of Georgia and South Carolina. I bought non-OEM cross bars for the canoe. The install was a bit tricky since the mounting is in exact places under the roof glass. The test was successful since I was driving up to 80 mph with 50 mph winds. No issues whatsoever. I did put a line from the bow down to the truck for some additional piece of mind. We did some canoeing, but not as much as hoped due to strong currents in the Tugaloo river. Cooking and eating out in the woods always makes food taste better.

Check out this Fendt 1000 tractor. I am not photo-shopped in on this picture. This machine is the largest draft tractor in the world. It has features such as front view camera in the hood and side door wipers. These features will help avoid running over cars that may be sharing the roadway immediately next-to or in-front of this colossal machine.

Ya know, as a student of information science and a legacy of philosophers and technical folk. I think some pretty weird stuff sometimes. I mean, for instance, It seems to me that we are (as a human society) on the verge of a new enlightenment. The older methods of experimentation, observation and exposition of conclusions are pretty much out the window for practical science. Today, it seems that we take a shot, miss and kinda guess. We will make it up as needed in the future. Our older procedures have overrun themselves and we don't have time to reflect or correct (and of course we gave up years ago on documenting the whole mess).
