4th of July - Camping, Deer Babies, Wake Boarding

We have had a new resident. Actually there several new residents. A deer decided to have her kids in the back yard. They are here often. I can see them from my Zoom Room, so I apologize if I seem a little distracted sometimes when I am on a video call. We went canoeing and camping in South Carolina. We were exploring without a lot of planning, so you get what you expect- adventure and discovery. We stopped by the Tallulah Gorge lookout. When I rode my motorcycle through the area in the early 80's, I vowed I would come back. And I have come back-- again. I ate my traditional moon pie there as well. The Tesla is a great camper. Charge the battery, run the AC and enjoy the filtered ventilation with a nice entertainment system. Crazy. The paddleing wasn't that good. We found ourselves in Lake Keowee. The campground was good if you speak Spanish, and only enjoy power sports on small boats. I am a bit disturbed by the new trend of wake boarding. Instead of skiing being towed by...

My friend Dennis was in Atlanta for a conference. We had a few nice dinners together. It was a good excuse to invite a few friends out for dinner. I have been in Tampere Finland. Very pleasant. The clean air and relaxed safe attitude is all worthy of attention.

Vivid Dreams

I had a very vivid dream a few nights ago. It was so vivid I woke up. I wasn't scared or anything; it was just vivid. The general thematic conflict was "Man against Martians or the Extraterrestrial". When I remember dreams I always try to analyze them. It is a great window into inner space. Like I said it was quite vivid and the amazing details that comes with the word... vivid. From www.dreammoods.com Extraterrestrial To dream of an extraterrestrial being or place represents your far-fetched ideas and wild imagination. Your mind does not know any limits. Alternatively, the dream represents your desire to escape from your daily life.

It is Summer! at least everywhere in the Northern Hemisphere. I am in Atlanta for a few weeks it looks like. Bill and I went flying today. I haven't been taking many photos when flying lately; I am not sure why. It was hazy, but generally very nice flying conditions. I fired my landscaper so now I am stuck with lawn work for awhile at least. The yard still has surprises with flowers here and there. It has been very wet in Atlanta. The lawns are still very green and I don't know if it has been over 90 degrees more than just a couple of times. I have lots of things to do on my lists for sure. I have been relaxing too. That might seem strange to people who have known me for a long time. Also, here is a picture of the drive from NY back down to Atlanta last Sunday and one of our antique tractors going somewhere. Some friends of mine and I opened a bottle of mead that I made Aug 27, 2000. It was 13 year old homebrew made from wildflower honey from NY state. It was quite good. It was...
